Hi Andrea,

Hope you are not too travel weary. Are things as you expected?
Looking forward to hearing all the details.
The pub crowd was asking after you.

Cheers,
Peter.

Thanks Fred, I appreciate your words of encouragement.

At the moment, this is one of my favourite photos. I took it from the top level of an open-air double-decker tour bus while visiting Madrid in December 2006. When I saw him sitting there, I knew that I just had to take a photo.

Like Peter, I like this photo too, with its interesting composition and tilted angle. The soft lighting, sharp detail and rich colours really adds to the whole image.

You have made many changes to your website since my last visit. Keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Frederic

Of the two driving rain I prefer 01. I like the slant. It captures the sensation of the visual distortion of the water through our normal environment. The image fills the frame nicely and there are lots of nice elements apart from the lights. I like the balance of the tree and the building against the chaos of the lights (lots of nice bright colours) its unique and interesting image.
The Bridge is very interesting I like the colour and the format and the fill of the frame and the feeling of horizontal solidity, and I like the distortion- I dont understand the fully the grey vertical beam and I think I would prefer if it was not there BUT - I agree the image would be improved with addition of another element (I think) what could that be???
The blue parliament is nicely done but conventional, it pleases me but does not evoke any stronger emotion, it is a nice record and you should be pleased with it, but lots of other people could have taken that shot.
I would love to see some people shots, I rememeber the first image you showed me was a people shot in Spain, I have some feelings about you and people shots, I want to talk about that, but need some images first
